Millard A. Kimbel, 80, of Carney Hollow Rd. Springwater, died Monday (Mar, 4, 1985) in Noyes Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Kimbel was a native and life resident of Springwater and retired from farming in 1974. He also was a former employee of Foster Wheeler Energy Corp. in Dansville.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Mary Kimbel; two daughters, Joyce Wilson of Wayland and Marjorie Goodwin of Dansville; five sons, Jerry of Brunswick, Ga., Burton and Norbert of Wayland, Victor of Tennessee and Glen Johnson of Dansville; a brother, Alton of Wayland; a sister, Clara Shaver of Wayland; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A service was conducted in the Walter E. Baird and Sons Funeral Home, Wayland, Thursday morning with the Rev. William Lowry officiating. Burial was in Pleasand Valley Cemetery, Springwater.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Springwater Volunteer Ambulance Service.
