50th Anniversary for Austin Kimbels From an Unknown Newspaper on unknown date. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Kimbel of Carney Hollow road will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Dec. 21. Miss Edna Miller of Springwater and Mr. Kimbel were united in marriage on Dec. 21, 1902. Their attendants were Murray Moose and Miss Grace Swarts, whose marriage occurred a few weeks later. Mr. and Mrs. Kimbel are parents of Millard and Alton Kimbel and Mrs. Aubrey (Clara) Shaver, of this vicinity; and have nine grandchildren. They have resided for the past 48 years on their farm in Wright’s District, which was Mr. Wright’s father’s farm.

The Obituary of Austin S. Kimbel 1884 - 29 September 1974 From the Genesee Country Express, 3 October 1974 Austin S. Kimbel, 90, of Carney Hollow Rd., Springwater died Sunday Sept. 29, 1974 in his home following a long illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Springwater and was a retired farmer. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clara Shaver of Wayland; two sons, Millard and Alton of Springwater; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A funeral service was conducted yesterday in the Baird Funeral Home in Wayland. Burial was in Plesant Valley Cemetery, Springwater.

The Obituary of Edna J. Miller Kimbel 1884 - 5 October 1970 From the Springwater Valley News, October 1970 Mrs. Edna M. Kimbel, 86, of Carney Hollow Road died October 5 in Dansville Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She leaves her husband, Austin; one daughter Mrs. Aubrey (Clara) Shaver of Wayland, two sons, Alton and Millard Kimbel, both of Springwater, one brother, Ralph Miller of Dansville, one sister, Mrs. Walter (Flora) Smith of Tuscarora; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
