From the Livonia Gazette, 13 April 1928

The marriage of Miss Flora Marie Snath, daughter of Mrs. Jennie G. Snath of Geneseo, to Mr. Nathan B. Short, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Short of Hemlock, took place Thursday morning, April 12, at 8 o’clock at St. Mary’s Rectory, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. J. E. Bayer.

The bride was attended by Miss Ruth Selion, a school friend, and the groom was attended by a cousin, D. Sayre Beam. A wedding breakfast at the Commodore Perry followed the ceremony.

The bride is a graduate of the Geneseo Normal, class of 1925, and is a member of the Avon high school faculty.

Mr. and Mrs. Short will be at home in Hemlock after July 1st.

The Obituary of Flora M. Snath Short Woodworth

1902 - 11 January 1993

From the Genesee Country Express, 12 January 1993.

Livingston County Sheriff John M. York announced on Jan. 11, 1993, the death of a 91 year old Livonia woman as a result of injuries sustained from a car/pedestrian motor vehicle accident on Jan. 10, 1993.

The deceased was identified as Mae S. Woodworth of 29 East Avenue, Livonia. She was struck by her neighbor, Mildred Henderson, age 81 of 31 East Avenue when Henderson had stopped at the Woodworth residence to pick Woodworth up for an outing.

Woodworth was transported to Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville by the Livonia ambulance where she died on Jan. 11th.

There are no charges pending. Assisting in the investigation was Investigator Norbert Buckley, Deputy John Curtiss and Deputy Jeffery Becker.
