The Obituary of Charles Proctor I

1862 - 12 October 1937

Rochester - Charles Proctor of Hemlock died Tuesday morning at the Strong Memorial hospital, Rochester, after having been there for three weeks. Though on the street the day before he was taken to the hospital, he had been in poor health for quite a while.

Mr. Proctor was the son of William and Susan Swift Proctor, was born in Hemlock NY seventy-six years ago, and had lived there practically all his life.

November 19, 1893, he married Miss Nora Rochford of Hornell, who survives her husband. They had no children.

Besides his wife, Mr. Proctor leaves two sisters, Mrs. Mary Campbell and Mrs. Edward Welch, and one brother, William Proctor of Hemlock.

The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o’clock from funeral parlors in Hornell. Burial will be in Hornell.

Hornell - Mrs. Nora Proctor of Hornell, formerly of Hemlock, widow of the late Charles Proctor, died early Sunday morning.

Funeral services were conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning in St. Ann’s church, Hornell.
