Marriage of Frank B. Jones and Pearle Wilcox From the Cohocton Index, October 1915 Springwater - The marriage of Miss Pearle Wilcox to Mr. Frank Jones of Geneseo took place at the home of the bride’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hudson, Thursday, a week ago. Rev. W. J. Brown was the officiating clergyman. The wedding was a very quiet affair, only the immediate relatives being present. The bride has resided in Springwater nearly all her life and for several years past has been engaged in teaching school. She was also prominent in social affairs and a member of the C. A. C. The groom is connected with the Peck Hardware firm at Geneseo, where they will reside. Congratulations.

The Obituary of Frank B. Jones 1895 - 4 October 1961 From the Genesee Country Express, 12 October 1961 Springwater - One of the community’s most well-known citizens died Wednesday (Oct. 4, 1961). Frank B. Jones was found dead in bed by his daughter, Mrs. Frances Walker. He was better known to the people of this area as the “Mayor of Springwater.” In addition to Mrs. Walker, he is survived by a brother, Harry of Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Webb of Miami, Fla.; and Mrs. Katherine Jones of Marcy; two grandchildren. A funeral service was conducted Friday in Wayland. The Rev. Howard Warriner officiated. Burial was in Mt. Vernon Evergreen Cemetery.
