The Obituary of Orton Connor 12 June 1853 - 30 August 1928 From the Livonia Gazette, 7 September 1928 Orton Connor, a former resident of this place, passed awy after a long illness, at his home in Honeoye Falls, August 30th. Mr. Connor was born June 12th, 1853, in Berlin, Wis. When about six years of age, his parents moved to Granite Falls, Minn., being the second family in that section of Minnesota. He lived there until about seventeen years old and then in company with a brother, came east and lived with an uncle, Dennis Connor. Mr. Connor was united in marriage with Miss Harriet Watson at Hemlock on October 29th, 1876. He is survived by a daughter, Miss Lottie Connor, of Honeoye falls; also three sons, John and Frank of Hemlock and Roy of Honeoye Falls, and ten grandchildren.
