News of Montgomery W. Branch From the Naples Record, 27 June 1928 Springwater - Rev. Montgomery Branch, a missionary who is home from India, came up on Sunday with Rev. M. M. Shaut and gave us a fine talk about the work in India. At the close a collection was taken and a nice sum was raised for the missionary work. Mr. Branch has been away from here about fifteen years, and finds many of his relatives and friends have passed on. East Springwater was his home before going away. ...
From the Wayland Register, 13 August 1931 Springwater - Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery Branch and family of India are visiting at the home of Mr. Branch’s brother, Miles, and family. Mr. Branch was a former resident of this vicinity. He left here twenty-three years ago and joined the mission in India.
