The Obituary of Floyd J. Barnhart 20 August 1897 - 24 November 1981 From the Genesee Country Express, 3 December 1981 Springwater - A funeral service was conducted Friday in the Springwater Methodist Church for Floyd J. Barnhart, 84, of Harpers Ferry Rd. there who died Tuesday (Nov. 24, 1981) in Noyes Memorial Hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Springwater and was engaged in farming. He was a retired employee of the Town of Springwater Highway Department. He was a former member of the Springwater Odd Fellows. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Edna Holmes of Springwater and several nieces and nephews. Burial was in Erwin Cemetery in Springwater. Arrangements were by the Walter E. Baird and Sons Funeral Home in Wayland. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the giver’s choice.
