Wiley W. Capron of Wayland died suddenly at an early hour Monday morning, Jan. 26, in Jacksonville, Fla., where he had gone two weeks previously because of ill health.
Mr. Capron was 58 years of age, born in Wayland and had always lived in that village where he was engaged in the wholesale produce business for many years. He was a charter member of the Wayland Rotary Club, a director of the First National Bank and a member of the local lodge of Odd Fellows.
Four sons survive, Wilber, Theodore, Charles and Wiley J. Capron.
The body was brought to Wayland where funeral services were held from the home, Rev. Sandmeyer, pastor of the Methodist church of which the deceased was a member, officiating. Representatives of the Dansville Rotary Club attended the funeral.

Wayland, June 1924 - Mrs. Wiley W. Capron died Sunday night, aged 56 years. She had been in ill health for the past year.
Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Wilber W. Capron, of New York City; and Theodore Capron of Wayland; also a brother, Walter Wintersmith of Falmouth, Ky.
