The Obituary of James W. Capron 24 August 1844 - 13 December 1915 From the Cohocton Index, December 1915. Springwater - James Capron died at the home of his son, John, Monday, Dec. 13, 1915, at 12:20 p.m. Mr. Capron was 71 years, 4 months and 7 days of age, and had been a resident of this place for many years. He is survived by one son, John of this place, and one daughter, Laura of Belmont, two sisters, Mrs. S. L. Whitlock and Mrs. H. E. Allen both of this village, and two grandsons Russell Capron and Elwin Tucker. Mr. Capron was a veteran of the Civil war. |
