School #4 in Hemlock NY in 1876 Located on North Main Street The building was built in 1876 and was known as “The Old Block School”. It was used as a school house until 1911 when districts 4 and 12 were joined into the Union School at the center of the village of Hemlock. On 17 August 1912 this building was sold at an auction. The building was used as a doctors office for awhile and since then has been private residence. The building is located on North Main street in Hemlock NY and is in excellent condition.
