The Obituary of Cecil V. Harvey 7 December 1905 - 14 January 1969 From the Livonia Gazette, 16 January 1969 Cecil V. Harvey, 7336 Adams Rd., Hemlock, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 1969 at Thompson Memorial Hospital, Canandaigua. He was born in Hemlock, Dec. 7, 1905, the son of Grant and Florence Crout Harvey. Mr. Harvey is survived by his wife, Feronia Underdown Harvey; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Marion) Whitehead, of Honeoye Falls; four brothers, Harold of Geneseo, Clayton of Rochester, Albert and Alfred, both of Hemlock; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Wingate of Livonia, Mrs. Burnell (Pauline) Briggs of Hemlock; one grandson, Craig Whitehead; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Harvey was married Aug. 10, 1929 in Geneseo to Feronia Underdown. He was a member of the Hemlock Methodist Church, Community Church Club, CSE, former councilman-at-large, and the Geneseo County Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Harvey was superintendent of Water Treatment Upland Water Supply of the City of Rochester. Friends may call from 7 to 9 today, Thursday, at the Brown Funeral Home, 20 Washington St., Livonia, where a service will be held Friday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Denis Borst officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Union Cemetery, Livonia. Friends wishing may make memorial contributions to the Heart Fund.
