Mr. and Mrs. Blank Celebrate Pearl Wedding Anniversary

From the Livonia Gazette, 3 March 1922

Mr. and Mrs. Pratt E. Blank celebrated the thirtieth anniversary of their marriage at their home Friday evening of last week, February 24.

The announcement of their pearl wedding came as a surprise to their friends, who did not seem to connect thirty years of married life with them. Mrs. Blank has been prominent in the work of the Rebekah lodge, and has held several important offices. Mr. Blank is a member of the Odd Fellows, and both are held in high esteem by the members, as was shown by their gifts.

Pratt E. Blank and Carrie Coykendall were married at Livonia on February 24, 1892, by the Rev. W. A. Barber. The marriage was a quiet one, the only witnesses being Mr. and Mrs. Harry King. Mrs. King was present at the anniversary.

A three-course dinner was served Friday evening to eighty by the young friends of their only daughter, Mildred, a senior in the Hemlock High School, after which cards and music furnished the entertainment.

The out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Hiram House, Mrs. Fred House and son of Hornell, Mrs. Pullyblank of Caledonia, Miss Vera Hoppough of Avoca, Miss Nina Adams of Wayland, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Coykendall of Livonia, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Coykendall of Canadice, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Adams and son Stuart, and Carl Drain of Honeoye.

Many happy returns of their wedding day are wished for them by their many friends.
