The Robinson Homestead in Springwater NY

1

This photo shows the house at the corner of Mill and School streets in Springwater NY as it appeared in 1891. The photo was taken from Mill street but School street did not yet exist. The house was identified as the Ed Robinson house on the 1902 map of Springwater. It may have been a stage stop for the line that ran along Mill Street. The sign hanging from the right porch says “Dana Jackman - Piano Tuner”. The woman standing at the porch step is unidentified.
